Isolation is more than just where you live. I think I have friends out there who are reading this blog. BUT I do not know this for sure,unless you comment on the blog site. (even if it is just a "hi chris ...good to know that you are still blogging for us somewhere out there) I enjoy writing this blog but I would love to hear from you too!

Hi Chris! I finally got some time to read what you and Jim are up to and once I started reading I couldn't stop. What an experience. That sounds like a wonderful place--particularly the people you have met. In some ways it sounds a little like Haida Gwaii, with all the Loony Toony auctions going on. I'm learning some traditional crafts as well with a class being held in the evenings in Skidegate (beading, cedar flowers...). Looking forward to seeing you two in August. Namaste. --Donna
